First try with 1/35 scale brick molds

I just picked up some 1/35 scale brick molds and decided to give plaster casting a shot. Wasn't sure about the water-to-plaster ratio, so I figured I'd ask around, if anyone's got a ballpark mix that works well, nothing too brittle or soupy...I'd really appreciate the tip

2.5 parts plaster to 1 part water by volume should be good enough ,start with the water in the cup, then slowly sift the plaster in until it stops absorbing and you get a smooth, pancake batter kind of consistency then let it sit for a minute or two before pouring to reduce bubbles

I would also add to avoid over-mixing cuz that can also cause air bubbles.

Does the temperature of the water make any difference? Also, how long does the mix stay workable before it starts setting too fast? Trying not to waste my first batch!
