I decided to make silicone slot car tires as guys have done in the past. My preference is a silicone mold made with an old tire opensided mold. Then dye the sil black and pour it in my silicone mold. I'm having inhibition issues with mold making. I've tried tin based alumilite (10 to 1), never opened but over a year old, but it didn't set in 24 hours and I've used a generic platinum (no name ebay 50/50 transparent). Looks like it may have set on one pair of tire, but not the other. I had a tiny bit of Alumilite red from HLobby left (50/50) and it did set in one mold I made and the cheap transparent rubber did mostly cure in that mold and made a successful pair of tires. I sprayed man 200 on all tires before I poured rubber. My one succesful mold I used alumilite rub to rubber release. What materials would be my best choice and how should I seal old rubber tires before I pour over them.
So basicall silicone poured in silicone with an old pair of tires for a mold master. What procedures will work. Hope this wasn't too confusing.
